Audition etudes for 2023-2024 will be posted at the end of July.

Play the full etude as referenced on the TMEA Website. This is for students who wish to excel at the highest musical level. This will apply to the Area audition (level up from Region)

Second Tier Etudes: REGION CUTS

Play the etude as bracketed (if no bracket, start at the beginning and end at the end) and labeled "Region". This is for students who wish to be in the LCHS Wind Ensemble (top band) or Symphonic Band (second band). These etudes will be used to audition for the TMEA All-Region Band.

Third Tier Etudes: COOPER ONLY CUTS

Play the etude as bracketed (if no bracket, start at the beginning and end at the end) and labeled "Cooper". ALL LCHS students will learn these cuts for both a playing test grade and a chair placement.
